	Renewable Energy Power Systems
Design of remote area power supply (RAPS) and grid connected renewable energy systems. Investigation of protection systems for electricity grid interactive inverter systems. Harmonic analysis of RAPS and grid connected inverter systems.
	Technical Issues of grid connected distributed generation systems
Member of CIGRE CP6 on Distributed Generation. Associated with the interconnection guidelines for small to medium sized generation, protection, voltage regulation and quality of supply issues of systems.
	Inverters
Design of medium power inverter systems for a motor control, remote residential power, grid connected photovoltaic systems and the application of microcontroller systems for their control.
	Microcomputer applications applied to power electronics particularly in the area of renewable energy conversion systems.
